Welcome
My research engages with the Sikh tradition, knowledge production, and decolonization through various epistemologies. I explore how different ways of knowing can inform and transform our understanding of religious and cultural traditions.
Having transitioned from teaching to research, I now focus on three interrelated research streams that examine the intersections of narrative, philosophy, and transnationalism within Sikh studies.
Research Streams:
- Narrative and Literary Theory - Examining how stories and texts shape understanding
- Pluralism, Geophilosophy, and Gurmat - Exploring philosophical approaches to religious diversity
- Transnationalism, Statelessness, and Repression - Investigating global dynamics and their impact on communities
